Refund & Cancellation Policy

REFUND & CANCELLATION 

DETECHIE DIGITAL ACADEMY PRIVATE LIMITED follows a strict cancellation policy for all admissions done through a payment of INR 1000 as a registration fee. We would like you to be mindful of the following terms and conditions regarding the refund of your fees paid at any stage of your admission and training.

Scenario 1: Admission

It takes a lot of effort from our side and trust from your side to sign up for a course at Dice Academy. However, for any unforeseen circumstances, if you are not satisfied with your decision, we will accept cancellation within 7 days after the registration, starting on the registration date, subjective to the following conditions:

• Voluntary submission of withdrawal from the course before getting allotted to a batch 
• Not more than one classroom session has been attended post-registration

Scenario 2: Active 

We want you to be fully satisfied with every course you register for at our Academy. In case you want to quit your training, we can process a refund of the fees paid, following the below conditions:

• We consider a student to be ‘active’ after he/she has attended at least 3 classes and paid the first instalment of fees 
• For ‘active’ students, there is no refund of registration fee of INR 1000
• If the student has attended up to 4 classes, a refund of up to 25% can be processed subject to the approval of the management 
• If the student has attended 5 classes or more, no refund of fees is applicable

Scenario 3: Active & Ongoing

Every student who has spent over a month at Dice Academy is considered to be an active & ongoing student, considering all due fee payments have been made. If such a student decides to withdraw from his/her course, the following conditions are to be made:

• A formal request is to be made to the Operations team 
• If the fee payment mode is EMI, no refund will be made
• No refund will be made for students who wish to pause their classes and resume at a later date; the fee will be adjusted when the student resumes his/her classes
  
  

Scenario 4: One-Time-Payment

Students who have made an one-time-payment of the entire course fees is eligible for a refund, following the below conditions: 

• If the student has attended up to 8 classes or spent one month in the training (whichever is less) - 50% refund of the course fees (not including the registration fees) 
• If the student has attended up to 16 classes or spent two months in the training (whichever is less) - 25% refund of the course fees (not including the registration fees) 
• If the student has attended up to 24 classes or spent three months in the training (whichever is less) - No refund

Scenario 4: Discounted fees payment

Dice Academy offers discounted fees as part of its periodical campaigns. Students who take admissions under these campaigns are eligible for a refund, following the below conditions: 

• Refund of the registration fees of INR 1000 is applicable within 7 days of registration, provided the student hasn’t taken any class 
• No refund of fees is applicable once the student takes three or more classes and have paid the dues

For every approved refund, the amount will be transferred within 5 working days from the day of the formal approval of the refund. The said amount will be refunded in the manner it was paid.
